Last second decision to go down at 11ish since I'd missed all the action early in the week. What a session ! Wind was gusty but fully powered most of the time on 9m kite. Waves were fun with lots of white water everywhere. Visability was really bad and lost sight of the beach a couple of times - not even far out. Wind direction was perfect for jumping over waves on the way out and riding the waves or skimming along in front of the breakpoint on the way back in. Sometimes caught a single wave for the entire run back into shore. Fantastic :) After a couple of hours board leash webbing snapped a way out after a big big rinsing and no chance of getting back to the board. The gust that had come through meant I couldn't even hold the kite fully de-powered once on the beach so called it a day and changed. Walked along the beach and was glad to almost immediately find both the board and the boot that came off while in the 'washing machine'. Fantastic 2 hours !
